Due to the plentiful of picturesque opportunities which abound in her, it doesn’t come as a surprise that scenes from several award winning movies where shot here. Remember the movie African queen? While the Northern side of the park is largely an open Savannah, the South is a tropical forest. This avails an opportunity for finding out what differentiates forest species like buffaloes and elephants from their Savannah counterparts.

Day 1: Kampala- Murchison falls (6hrs)
An early morning drive to Murchison Falls with a visit to the Rhino sanctuary. After rhino tracking, have lunch and then proceed to Murchison falls. Drop your luggage at the lodge and enjoy an afternoon/evening game-drive. Return to your accommodation for Dinner and Overnight at Paraa lodge. B.L.D
Day 2: Enjoy a Morning Game Drive and an afternoon Boat Cruise
This is a day for a wonderful Uganda Safari in Murchison Falls National Park, a haven for wildlife in Uganda. Wake up very early, take some snacks and tea and leave for an early-morning game drive before dawn to hook up with the early-rising mammals. This thrilling game drive will assist you see animals like the elephants, lions, giraffes, jackals, hartebeests, bohor reed bucks, oribi, bush bucks, hyenas, antelopes and the Uganda kob among others. You will rest from the game drive for a heavy breakfast and take a rest at the lodge. Later on after lunch at the lodge, you will go for an open launch cruise on the Nile. This boat voyage to the bottom of the falls allows you to see buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds including the rare shoebill, the herons, bee-eaters, cormorants, kingfishers, ducks, fish eagles, skimmers and many more. After a boat cruise, return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Murchison Falls –Kampala (6hrs)
Being the last day of your Uganda tour at the Murchison falls, you can either choose to go for an early morning balloon safari which is usually very outstanding way of seeing the Savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast alternatively you could opt for an early morning chimpanzee tracking at Budongo forest before being transferred to Kampala.
